The Desert Diamonds are the gems of the Australian Outback.
Nestled in the Heart of Australia you can find a charismatic burst of high energy dance and classic cabaret sophistication. Infusing classic showgirl, broadway, jazz, contemporary, hip hop and burlesque, the Desert Diamonds NT power packed energy, strength and charm is unforgettable.
Founded in 2017 at Wide Open Space Festival, The Desert Diamonds NT has garnered a reputation for creating performances infused with fun, cheekiness, sophistication and class. Boasting a robust yearly calendar of sold out tri-annual cabaret shows and performances at interstate and local events such as at the Australian Burlesque Festival, Wide Open Space Festival, Desert Festival, Tourism NT, Fab Alice Festival and ASTC Christmas Carnival, and feature appearances on national network television shows ‘The Tour Guides’ (channel 9) and ‘The Project’ (Channel 7).
The Desert Diamonds are a sought after dance group who have established themselves as an integral icon, advocating for the development of professional entertainment in Alice Springs, providing regular performance and networking opportunities for established local working artists including feature acts House of Cliterally, Fan Fatale, Rosie Wild, Dan Milne, statewide relationships with Australian Burlesque Festival, Drag Territory, Party Passport, Darwin Divine Dancers, GigTek, and providing artistic support of cabaret acts in Drag (Cliterally, Teresa Tuck n Go), Pole (Cherry Basso, Karren Lau), Circus (Circosis, Emma Fu, Maggie Pereyra) and Music performance (King Marong, Brassy Razoo, Jordan Van Der Schuit, Kirryn Wilkinson and DJ Darkness).

The Desert Diamonds NT provide ongoing dance training, mentoring, act development and performance experience as well as work opportunities for Dancers, Showcase Acts and Stage Crew in Central Australia. We are paving the way for future artists to live, perform and work in Central Australia.
To reflect this it is important to acknowledge our team of Diamonds Cabaret Alumni consisting of Desert Diamonds, Stage Managers and Showcase artists 2017 - 2021.
